Looking for a physician?
LCMS no longer keeps track of which offices currently take patients, as details change on a day-to-day basis. However, please check out the following resources to help you get started:

Community Health Centers of Lane County: 541-682-3353
A division of Health and Human Services of Lane County, CHC sees patients regardless of age or ability to pay. Clinics offer a sliding fee scale, depending on family size and income, and specialists can help with enrollment in the Oregon Health Plan. CHC clinics are distributed throughout the Eugene-Springfield area.

Aging and Disability Resource Connection of Oregon provides information on local services that can help with aging or disability needs, including adult day service programs, meal programs, transportation services, and other supports.

If you're looking for physicians who take Medicare, use Medicare's Physician Compare tool to find providers in Lane County.

Help for Seniors from SeniorCareGiverAlliance. 
Due to the current crisis, they have been particularly focused on health and finances. Older adults are and will continue to face increased hardships during the Coronavirus pandemic. But there are things they can do.

Mental Health Crisis Resources:

White Bird Clinic: 541-687-4000
White Bird provides individual, couples, and family counseling for adults on Oregon Health Plan and homeless individuals, which includes people who are at risk of becoming homeless.

Looking Glass Community Services:
Looking Glass offers a 24-hour crisis line for parents of children ages 18 and younger. It also runs a counseling program for children, youth, and adults.

End of Life Resources: 

End of Life Choices Oregon: 503-922-1132,
This nonprofit organization guides Oregonians through the various options for end-of-life decisions. This services exists to help answer questions and direct people toward resources that can help them.
